What's changed in the last week with CloudProfile as captured at CloudProfile University.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Improvements to how we handle photos making it easier to manage galleries, move photos between them, automatically create new galleries when you create a new post with multiple newly uploaded photos, and more.
- Improved "getting started" experience will provide new users with more guidance when they sign up.
Here are some of the behind the scenes improvements that you may not notice directly:
- Better automated RSS feeds contain all of the photos, videos and links associated with every post.
- Expanded content publishing APIs to enable some 3rd party apps that are being built on top of CloudProfile.
- Improvements to our integration with Twitter. Twitter can be fickle sometimes and we've built in some extra layers to avoid troubling our users with any issues Twitter is experiencing.
- A bunch of bug fixes, hopefully most of which were fixed before you were confronted with them.
What's on deck for next week?
- Bi-directional Facebook integration so that you can both publish to Facebook Accounts and Pages (as you can today) while also managing your customer engagement, comments, etc. from within CloudProfile.
- And lots of additional polish.
If you haven't stopped by CloudProfile University yet, definitely take a moment and visit. Besides having a really pretty campus, the classrooms are filled with great people and the courses are invaluable if you are a small business looking to get online, get found in natural, social and local discovery, and engage customers in rich conversations. Don't worry about your SAT scores, there are plenty of spots available.
The latest release of CloudProfile dropped last night and includes some exciting new features and functionality, all designed to help you amplify your online voice, get found and engage customers.
Improved editor that, amongst other things, now enables users to optionally control where any given post is going to be syndicate to. Have different "personas" across multiple Facebook Pages, Twitter accounts, or web sites? No problem.
New comment area on the right-hand side that helps everyone to see the latest conversations that are unfolding around any given business.
New and improved UI for our Engagement Stream and Radar, enabling users to track engagement with people on their CloudProfile and in other places around the web.
The Radar now makes it possible for people to automatically identify conversations that they should be participating in based on their keywords and topics of interest. I expect to see plumbers immediately helping people who Tweet about "broken pipes" more quickly than ever before, and plan to take some credit for their massively improved image and quality of customer service.
Support for multiple Twitter accounts
Specialty businesses excel at amplifying their online voice using CloudProfile too. Maloney & Company, LLC provides state-of-the-art risk management and insurance brokerage services to professional Architecture, Engineering and Other Design firms from Massachusetts to Delaware.
